Fish attractant, and ...hides human scent!

Every true Old Man of the Sea (or lakes, or rivers...) knows that anise essential oil (a.k.a. black licorice) is the magic trick to attract fishes galore! It effectively hides human scent and is an aphrodisiac to fish! The poor things get one whiff and fall right onto your hook! No fish story!
