As a fantasy artist, vampire-fan, and avid reader, I scarfed-up the Twilight books and movies to check-out Stephenie Meyer's unique twist on good-hearted "vegetarian" vampires and an immortal romance. And...it didn't take long here at Simply Soap till we started receiving numerous requests from Twilight book/movie/convention fans, goading us to offer a line of Twilight products as per scents described in the books, in a medium they could actually smell and use beyond just their imagining-from-reading! Especially the scent of Edward, described as "honey, lilac & sun"... Everyone's curious what that smells like! Whether you personally happen to love the books or not, it must be said, Stephenie Meyer created some luscious scent blends in literature!
As with all of our product-making, we researched & calibrated till we got each scent "just right". Each based on specific descriptions by Stephenie Meyer (Twilight saga author), but using our own creative judgment, and made them into handmade soaps and solid perfume balms! We tried them out on objective guinea pigs. Interestingly, we also tested on non-Twilight fans, who did not know the book-inspiration behind them. Everyone LOVED them!
So here they are....aromas to quench your Twilight-inspired demand, and enjoy as you curl up in the bath to re-read your books, plug in your DVD's, don your Twilight con costumes, or seek that meaningful gift for your dearest Twilight pal! Soaps & perfumes to accompany the love story eternal, of Edward & Bella!
But honestly, these scents are too luscious to be enjoyed by Twilight fans only! We named each soap/perfume so it is not solely Twilight-related. You can choose between Twilight-inspired design labels that include descriptive inserts that refer to the book and quoted passage(s) that inspired the scent! (See product option photos below!)
Or, if you wish to share or gift these products to someone not completely in-the-know about the Twilight phenomenon--we've got non-Twilight-specific parchment labeling as well! Who knows....you may "turn" someone into a vampire-(scent)-lover, unbeknownst to them!

Our creamy solid perfume balms are crafted with deliciously skin-friendly and fast-absorbing jojoba and olive oils, with beeswax, fragrance and/or essential oil scenting, and mica shimmer. No alcohol used. Each comes in a capped tin. Dab on pulse points, ...as the balm warms to your human temperature, the scent continuously releases. One ounce tins.
Honey, Lilac & Sun
You know who inspired this! Vampire Edward Cullen sparkles dazzlingly in sunlight, and smells of "honey, lilac and sun."
In Breaking Dawn, pg. 388, Bella awakens from her vampire transformation, acutely aware of her heightened senses...."And most of all, I could taste an almost-honey-lilac-and-sun-flavored scent that was the strongest thing, the closest thing to me."
This soap and perfume balm's bouquet is not only like honey, lilac and sun, but also contains shimmer! The soap is sprinkled throughout with beautiful mica shimmer, as is the perfume balm! Use the perfume balm liberally and stand in the sun....and you too, shall shimmer! The soap bar is also topped with glitter! We designed this shimmery white soap with a black streak to reflect Edward, and his dark secret.....
La Tua Incantante
("Your Singer" - in Italian)
Edward to Bella...in "Twilight", pg. 306..."Just because I'm resisting the wine doesn't mean I can't appreciate the bouquet," he whispered. "You have a very floral smell, like lavender. . . or freesia," he noted. "It's mouthwatering."
And in "New Moon", pg. 471, at the Volturi Castle in Italy, royal Volturi family member Aro, recognizes the deliciousness of the scent of Bella's human blood and is amazed at Edward's self-discipline not to kill her and asks "How can you stand so close to her like that?". He says to Edward, ...Bella is "la tua incantante", ..."your singer"...because her blood sings to him.
And on pg. 490, after they have finally left the Volturi Castle, Alice asks "What was all that talk about singers?" "La tua incantante," Edward said. "They have a name for someone who smells the way Bella does to me. They call her my singer - because her blood sings for me."
We created this blend based on Edward's description of Bella...freesia and lavender, and named it for Bella being Edward's singer! Does your scent sing to someone? Perhaps it will with La Tua Incantante! Floral, clean.....and indeed, mouth-watering! We designed this shimmery white soap to reflect Bella, with a crimson streak to represent her singer blood. Topped-edged with a sprinkle of crimson mica, when first wetted, will turn the water that hits it a momentary red, then disappear. Non-staining.
Amore Eterno
("Eternal Love" - in Italian)
This beautiful scent celebrates Edward and Bella's wedding and the declaration of their (quite literally) "eternal love". In Breaking Dawn, pages 41-42, Alice drives Bella to the Cullen house to prepare for she and Edward's wedding, ...up the three mile long driveway decorated in hundreds of thousands of twinkle lights and satin bows.
As Alice guides Bella into the house blindfolded, Bella asks "What is that?" at the wonderful scent...."...the balance of the different fragrances was subtle and flawless. Orange blossoms...lilac...freesia and roses."
We've captured a flawless balance of these glorious scents in our blend we call Amore Eterno! And if you'll notice, we made this soap the combined colors of the soaps representing both Edward & Bella...a marriage of the two! Exquisite and addictive!

Who can forget the snuggly tent scene high in the forested mountains? Page 492 of Eclipse, "I noticed that Jacob's skin had a woodsy, musky scent - it fit the setting, here in the middle of the forest. It was nice."
I'll bet it was nice! We've blended a luscious combo of forest tree scents - spruce, balsam pine, fir with rich musk to create our version of Jacob the man, but we all know what lurks beneath his surface.
'53 Chevy Truck
Practically a character unto itself, is Bella's old truck! At the clever suggestion of a dear Twilight-loving friend of ours, we created this scent. You might be looking for a scent your own man is interested in using that maybe isn't quite as ethereal as honey, lilac & sun. So, we give you "'53 Chevy Truck", as per the BOOK truck description on pg. 12 of Twilight, "...the tan upholstered seats still smelled faintly of tobacco, gasoline, and peppermint." We omitted the gasoline scent for obvious unfavorable reasons, but concocted this luscious cherry tobacco scent blend, with hints of refreshing peppermint, earthy leather, and added herbal notes that reflect previous truck-owners' Billy and Jacob Black's native heritage. A most pleasing man-friendly blend (females like, too!). A perfect addition to the Twilight wardrobe of scents we've realized-into-products to match your many Twilight moods!
